Replacement Shocks/struts

The trip to the Kimberley has left the car with a ride akin to a go kart and it looks like the internal shocks inside the air suspension struts are knackered.

I've heard there are some replacement Bilsteins available.

Does anyone have a contact for these or a similar alternative?

Thanks in advance 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

My wife laughingly pointed that out to me as well.

Very funny stuff.

While our Sport did come back with a few issues, the way I punt our Sport off-road every other week, I'm really only surprised that something like this didn't happen sooner Whistle

In fact I don't think there are many 4WD's with standard suspension that could take the belting I've given mine and not have serious problems.

We've just clocked up 125,000kms and this is really preventative stuff. It hasn't given up the ghost and I'm still driving it to work daily, but you can feel how loose it is over even mildly rough bitumen to know that she's a little unwell at the moment and needs some TLC. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

I'm sure I read on D3 that the Bilsteins weren't up to much and there's some other solution from South Africa instead. I may be wrong though.

My Sport's in much the same state as yours when it comes to the dampers, the rear's shot to bits really and towing our caravan 200 miles last week only highlighted it even more. For now though, they'll have to wait. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne.
