I would suggest that you call the garage and ask for their insurance company details and lodge a complaint that way.

I've contacted the insurers and they are going to send out an independant engineer so evaluate the damage. The thing is it's my word against his. I have just sent the garage a letter stating the consumer rights act and outlining the damage done. I have taken photos aswell. The owner of the garage basically laughed in my face and told me i was wasting my time, i'm just wondering if anyone else has been through this and what was their outcome. Like he said, it's my word against his as i did not have pictures of the wheels before they entered his garage. So a warning to those of you TAKE PICTURES BEFORE YOU SEND IN YOUR BELOVED BEASTS |

Pictures would help a lot more than multiple postings, and or a description of how the wheels are wrecked. |

Thats nothing. Well i know its not nothing. But a good friend of mine took his 55 plate disco into a someone to have a service done on it (can't mention names) and on the way home it started whistling like mad. Further inspection reveleald someone had dropped a bolt down the intake witch had very quickly minced the turbo to bits. |

Small Claims court - always seems to favour the person lodging the claim...so it might be you need to go that route.

[code]Thanks guys, can't sleep, i'm so upset by this i'm up at stupid o'clock making cheesecake! Have uploaded one pic so far. I have contacted the insurers and they are sending out an engineer to assess the damage, also contacted consumer trades and will send the letter they gave me tomorrow. I could tell that he has absolutely no intention of repairing the damage they did, so i guess my only way to make him pay is to name and shame him. At least that way people will be aware of what a dissapointing human being he is. |
