I'm trying to upgrade the brakes on my '08 V8 HSE to the supercharged Brembo's. I have the rotors, pads, calipers. I tried to put on the calipers and they would not fit/align to the bolts on the spindle. Turns out the seller mislabeled the calipers as they are really for a ffrr supercharged. Besides purchasing sport supercharged calipers, I've heard that I will also need sport supercharged brake dust shields (does anyone know the part number??) since the supercharged rotor was touching the lip of the HSE brake dust shield, and I also need a new brake booster with vacuum lines. I found the brake booster here: http://www.britishpacific.com/products.php...;year=all. Is that the right part? How do I go about installing that?

in the US, all the RRS have V8's. We only have the option for V8 HSE models with regular brakes or V8 supercharged models with the Brembo brakes. I ordered the brake booster and disc shields from parts.com and should be an easy swap. |
