Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey
Trip computer

I don't know if I need to do something or if my trip computer isn't working as it should. Both my trip A and trip B totals zero themselves when I stop the engine. I thought they were supposed to be a cumulative total and that the auto was the one that got zeroed. Doesn't seem to me to be any point in having three settings that all do the same thing? 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

My car shows exactly the same problem and dealer has no idea how to fix it.

Any ideas? SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

Roland - have you had any luck with this. Took it into my dealer who had never seen this before. They've submitted a request to Land Rover and I'm just waiting to hear back if there is a cure. 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Its not set to Auto is it - i swear i read on the 2010MY+ if you set to auto, it will reset the trips everytime you stop the car.

Might be the wrong thing reading it...

Quote:
AUTO TRIP MEMORY
The Auto trip memory resets each time the
engine is started and the vehicle moves.
Trips may be added together to record a
continuous journey.

My understanding is that if it is set to auto it will only reset the auto trip computer, it won't affect A or B. It doesn't matter which one it is on, it resets all of the trip computers. 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Your probably correct...ive not set it to Auto yet - i just remembered reading it and it sounding similar to your issue.

Oddly the auto does do what your experiencing - reset everytime you stop the car. Maybe there is a software bug? Mike

Well the car has been at the dealers for a week. I've been told it is now ready to pick up - they've replaced the instrument cluster and done some recoding(?). I hope it's now sorted - will let you know later. I've missed my Sport. 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.
