Starter Motor

Has anyone had problems with starter motors on TDV8 ?

Car has been broken for two weeks now and LR UK do not have any in stock. Anyone else experiencing same problem ?

My starter started to work intermittently, although it always started second or third attempt and was replaced last November. It took about 4 weeks to get, then 7 weeks ago the replacement started doing the same. The new one arrived last Friday. It was made in Japan so I guess that may be the problem this time.

Have you tried contacting Customer Services - they won't know the reason for the delay but they should get you a date for delivery.

Talk to "The Large One" or "TLO" on the D3 site for any urgent LR spares. Nick is the parts man at Yeovil Land Rover and can source things others cannot Thumbs Up
