I'm using a small palm size code reader. Do you happen to know where the MAP sensor is located? Perhaps I should take a look at it and it's wiring. Thanks! |

Above thread (and its links) was only really meant for diesel drinkers, never considered v8s. Problem with the TDV6s is the crud recirculated by the EGRs, which AFAIK the petrol engined car's don't have. Worth a look anyway but no idea where the MAP sensor is on a SC engine. |

I pointed him there just so that he has an idea where the MAP sensor is.

By 'air manifold' do you mean the inlet manifold ? Just wondering if it's the same item that's all. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne. |

yes, MikeS! Please excuse my misrepresentation, I am a heavy duty Diesel mechanic. I was supposed to say "Inlet manifold" in the case of a gasoline engine. |
