Howdens are fine, depends what yu are going for, installation more important in some instances as to what you are looking to achieve.

Poggenpohl very good, who are now owned by Magnet - but you need to consider when bespoke is your thing or mass market - which can be very good - but once again, it's down to Installation. I have done Ikea kitchens which have looked great, or Bulthaup done badly, which can also look crap..... |

Another thing to consider is how long will you be in your house, an expensive one doesn't add value, just makes it more saleable!! Another thing , is don't believe the hype that expensive will last forever, we put an Alno kitchen in 15 years ago in a traditional style thinking it wouldnt go out of style, but I can see myself changing it in the next year or two as it is a bit tired looking (real wood doors are fine, it's the carcasses that are knacked ! )
