Definitely did! Sometimes posting for help on here scares the life out of you but gave me a fair idea of what it might be.

Spoke too soon. Same light back on again at the weekend! Completely fed up now. Thought it was sorted. Back to the garage she goes!!!

Had the same problem over the weekend, Removed the cover on the compressor, squirted the compressor with washing up liquid (missing the electricals) found there was a air leak on a plastic piece connected to the pump uncliped it found a o ring replaced it now fine. I have exactly the same problem with my 08 tdv8. Its in to the dealers tommorow.

The difference between the light coming on now is that there are no air leaks when car is parked and turned off and does not lower excessively on one corner. However when I am driving and the light comes on, the acess/raise height fuction does not work! When i go back to drive it the next day, the access height button works fine. Mystified.

Sorry to keep resurrecting the thread but does anyone know if the suspension fault could be causing a battery drain as this is the latest issue to manifest itself. Took the intermittent fault light issue back to mechanic (which seems to be accompanied by whirring noise from the compressor on start-up). He doesn't want to know! As far as he is concerned, he can't (or won't do any more). Joke! Seems like £300 wasted IMO. Do I have any comeback on this? Any advice much appreciated.

hi is there a way of testing for a faulty height sensor as i get the light on but when i switch it of and back on it goes then few minutes later its back with the message and i cant higher or lower the vehicle until i switch the engine back of then on again have checked to see if the suspension is lowering over night but it doesnt so was thinking it might be a sensor any ideas thanks

I had the exact same issue, but it turned out to be a pin-hole air leak in the tank. I only found it because I could hear a faint hiss when I parked up - thinking I had another bloody puncture!!

Just sanded it down and filled it with a bit of chemical metal. Hasn't happened since.

left vehicle for a week lowered itself started engine today front lifted then back lifted to normal height is this normal or do i have a leak in the compressor somewhere
