GSM controller for FBH and HVAC Group buy

I just opened a group buy for the GSM controller for the FBH and HVAC from Danhag.

Not yet 100% sure the HVAC part works on the RRS, but as it works on the Disco3 I'm pretty confident it will work on our cars as well.
Still, we are working to get the 100% confirmation.

here is the link to the group buy.

No one else like the idea of this? I've signed up and so has VA, only need 5 more Thumbs Up

Can we get confirmation on it working on the RRS yet as this may introduce more interest.

I sent the wiring diagram of the RRS HVAC to Gerd, on the other site, who is in direct contact with Danhag, hope to get an answer soon. '08 RRS TDV8

Excellent Thumbs Up

Sorry Flydive missed you off. That's 3 RRS owners. Surely we can get some more?

This is really a great addition to the RRS especially if you hate getting into a cold car in the morning. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I've hopefully got my name down for one on the disco3 site, however I do need to know if it works on the MY2010 model?

Excuse my thickness.....but how does the car heat up without the engine running, therefore pushing heat into the cabin remotely?

As Martin has already said it activates the fuel burning heater and then there is also a module that starts the fans blowing I believe.

Flydive, I've seen the diagram etc on disco3 but are there going to be clear instruction on fitting and has this been confirmed to 100% work on the RRS?

Well I sure hope that we get better instructions than the wiring diagram. It looks a bit more involved than I thought but we will when we get more info.
Still did not get confirmation about the compatibility with the RRS, I will try to ask again. '08 RRS TDV8

Cheers Flydive Thumbs Up

Agree on the more involved than thought. Still shouldn't be too hard with the correct instruction.
Shame a wiring harness can't be made up tho instead of having to splice into cables.
