Which oil for TDV6?

Any recomendations on what the best oil is to use for a complete oil change?

Also how much is needed?

I have used Castrol Magnatec 5w 30, for an interim oil change. This is also what my dealer uses. There are other makes of course, but you need to stick to the spec and viscosity quoted in the handbook. You'll need about 5.7 litres (from memory) Thumbs Up RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i

Use Ford 5w30, correct spec and got 20 ltrs cheap. Remember the engine is Ford built and Pug designed so Ford oil will be OK! Otherwise Halfords own brand 5w30 fits the spec. Smile
