Hi, I have found it, I found it by looking at the install instructions for the retro fit of the Handsfree Phone Kit for the D3 and the RRS

Remove the silver trim around the top and remove any screws visible. Remove the knob on the gear shilft by pulling straight up then open the arm rest box and carefully remove the the centre console ie: pocket and gear shift this will reveal more screws the aircon must come out before the radio or else you'll break clips |

ok. that's what I figured. I was just going to take a quick peak, but I'll wait till I actually need to do the work. |

In the passenger footwell if you remove the side panel you will find a multiplug - can't remeber without looking but you will find a connection from here to aux input. |

Haven't done it for a bit but you will need to get heater/vent panel out to reveal final fixings, If remember this may also mean top panel of transmission tunnel, its all quite a painful job that lot with bits that will break easy. I dont undertand why you are no picking up from the aux feed in the back, got to be easier. At my age my memory is crap so I take no responsibility for your area being littered with RRS bits - best of luck |
