I was wondering if the TDV8 3.6 was being dropped in preparation for the new TDV8 4.4 as fitted to the new FFRR's. Now that would make it a SuperSport, especially combined with the 8 speed box. |

I hope you're right, because that is what I have done. Expecting delivery around the middle of October. |

Land Rover said there were "packaging issues" putting the 4.4 TDV8 into the RRS. Some say it won't fit, but I, like some others, believe it would fit. Why design a new engine that will only fit in the FFRR? I think it's just they need to keep the FFRR as the flagship. If I were a betting chap I would say we'll see either a 3.0s TDV6 (as per Jaguar) or a 4.4 TDV8 for RRS 2012MY. Or both! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone! |

Chosen mainly because it was the only diesel offered so deciding which one was fairly easy even for me. |
