2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

Great first choice of colour! I love mine
http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic18118.html

Which isn't for sale though...

You may struggle as I've seen very few MY10 TDV8's for sale. Have you checked the approved used site? Have you considered the Supercharged model if you do such low mileage. There is a far greater choice available.

Also Baltic Blue is a brand new colour introduced after dropping the TDV8. Previously they offered Buckingham Blue so that is all that will be available on the TDV8. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

2010 TDV8 HSE Galway Green - Adaptive Cruise - Sunroof - Privacy Glass - 5 Spoke Alloys
2009 TDV6 3.0 HSE Buckingham Blue - GONE

Your car looks fantastic. Shame you are not selling. As my girlfriend says, "it's all about the colour!". She doesn't get the TDV8 bit but trusts my judgement. I would, of course, love the 5.0 s/c, but I am trying to be 'sensible'... trying very hard.

What did you think of the TDV6 3.0?

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

When I first switched from a well run in 3.0 TDV6 to the brand new tight TDV8 the difference felt very small but now after 4K miles the TDV8 has started to loosen up nicely now and the difference is far more noticeable. The TDV8 has far more mid range shove and sounds great too (for a diesel).

One negative is the car does have an initial hesitation when pulling away. The 3.0 TDV6 being a new engine with sequential turbos doesn't have that at all. It still catches me out pulling out of junctions sometimes. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I don't think that this will tick your 'must have' boxes, but please have a look:

http://www.lookerslandroverlondon.co.uk/us...ID=1032518

We do not have any TDV8's left (New), except for an Autobiography in Santorini/Monaco which is sold subject to finance acceptance.

I will keep an eye out for you as we are also a Jaguar dealer so would probably be more realistic with the part-exchange.

There is also another option for a TDv8............................ but it's not an RRS, its better, and there are still plenty of new and late used examples around and it will shortly get a 4.4ltr version of the TDv8 if you fancy it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Tim, I know, the new RR 4.4 TDV8 must be great don't you think - but may be a bit too much for me, perhaps in 12 to 18 months! There's an engine gap with the RRS right now, so I reckon a TDV6S or the 4.4 TDV8 must be in the planning stages - it just must be.

James, I appreciate the link. Trouble with LR website is it chops off the equipment list at the letter 'P'. Can you confirm what, if any, options this one has fitted? Also, please do put me on your list, maybe you'll get some TDv8 swappers coming in with people hungry for the RR 4.4! In fact I'll give you a call so I can give you my full contact details.

Just keep watching the LR news site as believe me, it wont be long before the 4.4 is in the RRS and on sale Wink "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Please let me know what you know! I asked the question directly of the Product Manager for RRS and she told me that they had 'packaging issues' so it therefore wouldn't fit in RRS.

I am not saying that this is the case as it could be to throw me off the scent, therefore it would be interesting to see what you have been told.

For the reccord the dealer network has not been told of a 4.4 TDV8 RRS.

Hi James,

At one of the RR 4.4 TDV8 press release days the direct question was asked to one ot the big guns at LR about the RRS - the relpy went something like this "you dont think LR would spend all this money on developing an engine to only fit into one marque, especially the least best seller, yes the RRS will get the 4.4 but not until next year sometime"

I know LR are working on the "start/stop at the traffic lights" thing on this engine as well as some other things so it is probable that the new gizmos will be in the RRS Thumbs Up "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.

Been a while from me joining in. So hallo folks......

but this stop/start fuel saving technology has started appearing in Audi vehicles and most people hate it to the point that they turn it off.

So you better hope LR include an off button for it Laughing TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

FL2 Stop/Start has a switch, as does my wife's car, however both cars reset to 'ON' at the next ignition cycle.
