Well, Finally, Here She Is.... ** UPDATED 23/6/10 Page 10**

Me Again!

Thanks for clicking the link in my sig if you have just done so! Feel free to leave a comment or a question!

I know some of you wanted to see pics of my car once it was back from Revere.

So here they are...

A reminder of the mods...

- Colour coded mirrors, handles and rear cladding
- Colour coded headlights
- Black/Silver coded front/side grilles
- Clear indicators
- Updated 09 spec tail lights
- OEM side steps
- Side sills (as per my other post)
- Revere exhaust system
- Revere spare wheel cover
- Led side and numberplate lights (not shown)
- Black badges all round
- Suspension locked to access mode (keeps it low'er')

- Full colour coding and tinted front windows to come... Very Happy

Can I just publicly thank Simon together with Adrian at Revere for their second to none customer service and breath taking work performed on my car. I'm so truely delighted with the result that I can thoughroughly recommend them and their team at R-Tec, St. Albans or their Park Lane, London Locations.

That looks very nice indeed....... you have helped me to decide about colour coding my door handles, side vents and head lights, might do the grill outer edge while I am at it.

Just need to find a good painter now.

I cheated and got the capable guys at Revere to do my dirty work Embarassed

Although I happen to know they can be opened up with a heat gun, split apart, sprayed, put back in order, re-heated with heat gun and pushed back together to reveal the same result. WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award

Dadanek, as much as i'd love those wheels i'm gonna hold back. I've already had the car locked to the lowest setting.

On my last car (Audi TT) I totally ruined the ride and it ended up embarrassing when driving other people about.

I actually quite like the 20" supercharged wheels and I think they're a great compromise... WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award

Isn't the ride pretty tough in the lowered mode - mine rides on 22'' and in lowered mode it's gruesome!

Lights etc all look good - would perhaps go for slightly smoked rear lights. Mine has a full colour code, only thing I need left to get done are the front lights - and contrary to what some guys on here think about them - I have my side step trims colour coded too - and I think it looks good. I had a HST grill last week, in black, and even have my sat nav fin colour coded too

Exhaust system looks great!
Thumbs Up

I wouldnt bother with those wheeels.i had them on my last RRS and after about 12mths they started to blister. The distributor said there was no warranty in the Uk because of salt/grit that was used in Winter.Major job to refurb around £150 per wheel! I have just put 22" Revere alloys on my new RRS and i have to say they actually improve the ride.Feels much more solid at high speed and reduces the body roll in cornering. NEW RRS WHITE TDV8 1 OF 1

When you step out of a lowered Audi TT on 19" wheels.... even a push bike would feel great!

I try and stick to the OEM look as much as possible... I like the car to look like it could be a special edition from Land Rover rather than 'done up'.

With previous cars I did all the bodykits with tinted lights etc... This time round i'm taking a slightly different approach.

Where about in London you from Nick? I'm going to try, with the few people I see on here, to organise a meet... WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award

Can I just say, I LOVE your steering wheel!

Is it Arden? I really want one but it just seems such a lot of money for what it is! WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award

Hi Adam,

Very tastefully done Thumbs Up

I agree with Dadanek that a set of 'Different' 20" wheels would finish it off (And agree re Arden steering wheel).

My only major reservation is the permanent lowering of the suspension in access mode.

I would worry about the long term damage as I would assume LR prevent driving over 25mph (I think) before self raising due to this.

Anyway, good work fella Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
