Mobile Phone Choice

I need to replace my ageing Nokia mobile and after talking to several people including my LR dealer, as well as looking at the posts on the Forum, I have decided that an Apple iPhone is just not worth the hassle when combined with the RRS BlueTooth. I am very impressesed with the look and feel of the new HTC Legend. Has anyone got one of these, or another HTC Phone, and if so, how does it get on with the RRS Bluetooth? My car is the 2010 model & has had the latest LR S/W updates carried out on it.
If anyone wants to suggest other options I'm willing to listen too.

I have another option....iphone....or and another....iphone!!!!!

Even though I don't use mine as a phone (because i can't text with it whilst driving) for all the other things, nothing comes close - or ever will come close.

If you want dedicated email - go for a Blackberry......otherwise........iPhone all the way. You'll be amazed how you lived without it. Nobody comes close on it's application base either, and there are many people who successfully use their iPhones fine with their RRS....

iPhone? It's good. But I can't help thinking it is being bought my many users as a fashion item. I use an HTC Hero. Does everything the iPhone does using Google's Android operating system. The iPhone is not the only show in town in this respect. My bluetooth is OK with it. And before anyone asks, I am not anti Apple as I use an iMac and this really does knock the socks off PC's. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

My 3gs iphone and RRS work in perfect harmony, apart from microphone in RRS being c Censored p, but thats not iphones fault. Play all my music through ipod connection into iphone in cubby box, full control on touch screen, phone on BT, full control, menu and contacts on touch screen, sure it works by voice control as well, but only so many "sorry! command not recognised" that a man can listen to, get an iphone, best gadget ever and my Desert Island luxury purple people eater

Thanks for all the feedback chaps Thumbs Up
I have re-visited the iphone as a possibility but now I have to justify the cost! Unfortuneately I have to be responsible in the cost area as I run a small family business and it is the business that will buy the phone.
This is made worse by the fact that we have a fantastic tarrif on our mobile calls but it only supplies the sim card & no phone - hence I have to buy a sim free phone, which as i'm sure you know means spending more than usual. Both the latest HTC's are almost half the cost of an iPhone 3gs 16! Can I justify nearly £800 on a phone Shocked if I opt for the Apple? Decision's decisions Confused
I should also mention that I already own an Ipod touch 32GB, so I also feel there may be a lot of duplication if I go for the iPhone. Aaaaaaagh...... What to Do Confused Rolling Eyes 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
