Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey

Good to see you back ST!! God you dont have many choices there. What happened to your RRS? Have you left it in sunnier climates then?

Well I for 1 wouldnt consider Volvo after the disgusting customer service I received from them!! That bad they could learn from LR!! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter The Audi, ditto. Poor aftersales and sarcastic and rude sales manager do not promote repeat business as well as not even receiving a reply from their customer service. Volkswagen? Owned by Audi...... 'Nuff said........ Laughing Hows the Merc build quality these days?? That would be my choice I have to admit.

Hope you get something decent anyways matey.

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

Not sure I understand the Mercedes comment, so you get a C350 for the price of a C250? That would definitely get my vote. Its worth going for the C350 over the C250 just to get the 7 speed gearbox which is a huge improvement over the old 5 speed box they are still fitting to 4 cylinder cars.

I've seen the cracking lease deals on the C350, I didn't realise that was down to shortages on the 250. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

RichardM, basically you have the gist of it.

MB are having supply issues on their 2.1TD engines which sits in the 220 and 250 CDi in differing states f tune (Also in the 200Cdi I think...)

So, in order not to p Censored s off too many prospective buyers, MB are offering a significant manufacturer contribution into the deal.

This way, as you rightly say, you can get the 3.0 6 cyl diesel with the proper 7speed auto box for the equivalent price of the 4 cyl.

Certainly engine wise, this is the one to go for. Obvious worry is insurance and servicing costs.

Alot to think about.... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

I voted Merc

A friend is looking at opting back in to his scheme as when the company he worked for took over the cars on offer were crap. so he opted out and is running a VW Golf GT Sport and is £300 a month better off in his pocket after tax, but now a Merc C class is on offer on the scheme, his tempted to opt back in, give the wife his golf and use her FL1 as the dogs car.

Merc looks nice Cool

Laughing Good work Jonny! Bow down Thumbs Up

If I decide to opt out, I am pretty certain it would be for a C Class Sport.

Obviously, a 350CDi would be the prefered choice - a fantastic engine and f Censored g quick too! Bow down Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
