Rear lock acutators are know to give up. Sounds suspicious that both have gone at the same time.

Could be a sign that the battery is dead or on its last legs...

Which doors are locked - not clear, F&R passenger, so rear two and front passenger? You can get in OK?

Hi. I have a 05 model and it has just been in for a warrenty repair due to the rear passenger door not operating with the remote. Before i took it in i managed to open the door by climbing inside and holding the lever in the open position then operating the remote key. You can hear the actuator move and the door unlocked. Without the assistance it appeared that the actuator didn't have the strength to create this operation on it's own. I was told the latch was replaced. Having only owned the car for two months i was a bit dissappointed! |

We've had this 3 times in the last year on our 2006 car, it seems to arive without provocation. Agree with accyis that if you open the handle on the inside whilst pressing the fob/dash unlock button you can open the door, but this doesn't cure it. Have had 3 door lock replacements under warranty.
