You could also try running a couple of tanks full mixed with Millers Diesel Enchancer and Injector cleaner through it. Made a big difference to both the MPG and smoother running when I ran my Defender with it. As Landlord says if you are running at those speeds on the autobahn then don't expect ANY car to get good mpg - sit back, slow down and enjoy the comfort of the RRS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My RRS went from around 30 MPG down to 25 MPG within a week!! I drive mostly motorway cruising @ 80-85MPH.
My car hasen't got a DPF, checked with Landrover.
Any suggestions?

I don't think their Is an issue TBH. All cars suffer a slight loss of MPG during the winter season and it doesn't help with the FBH coming on a regular basis. Noticed the same with my RRS. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

I just returned from 600 mile trip to the Lake District. I averaged 34mpg on the way up and back (confirmed at pump as well as computer. Actually pump calculated out at 34.5mph) but only 25 around the Lakes which is understandable given the gear changes and inclines etc.

My D3 in the height of summer was returning 33mpg. Now its a bit cooler, 27-28mpg is the norm Thumbs Up

The FBH doesn't use that much fuel, unless its running all the time
