2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I was a late starter at learning to drive due to learning to drive something a little bigger. I was driving cars long before I went for lessons here in the UK as the shipping company wouldn't allow stevedores in the 3rd world ports drive such exotica as Datsuns and Ford Escorts that we carried as cargo. In 1979 I took my test and passed first time but had no car to drive Embarassed
But then my mother decided she wanted a new car and bought herself a White Fiesta 1.3 Supersport with blue stripes down the sides which meant she needed a buyer for her cast-off Fiesta 1.1L in Signal Yellow with black and brown velour interior. Kept that car for 2 years before I was earning enough to part-ex it for another Fiesta 1.1L Embarassed Embarassed 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Was the best car I`ve had, but I don`t know why?
It was quite hard to drive, especially on the motorways (big tyres) and freezing in winter... especially when some **##!%`s in high wycombe kept slashing the roof.

It was a childhood dream as they were often seen in american films / series around that time.
After the Jeep I dreamt of having a Range Rover Smile

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Bought a 1962 Singer Gazelle reg No 9388 YG just before my 17th birthday in 1971 for £60, ran it for 2 years and then sold it for the same money, great car, walnut dash, leather seats but held together with body filler.

The same as VA.........mine was a P reg, NNU111P Mini 1275 GT

I never finished spannering it.....it had no interior other than bucket seats bolted direct to the floor and a roll cage, it was like driving a go-cart and was far too powerful for a first car but I never crashed it so not all bad I guess!
