Would these not be covered by your warranty or are they only meant to be used once and then disposed of |

the problem been with that is you have all the other bolts to undo before you can take the wheel off I can't understand why RRS have them like you do, FL2 have normal steel cast ones |

Try "voice of reason" on here - WARNING he may tell you that you should have bought a "real RR" to get a functioning wheel brace. |

Yes mine was replaced under warranty. Although I now carry my trusty 20 years old cast steel wheel brace in the rear. With the LR Range Rover Sport brace you either break it, or break yourself trying to release the nuts.. So it will never be used again, but I have it in the car for completeness for whenever I eventually sell it. And before someone says, if the nuts are set to the correct torque blah blah blah - these wheel nuts were tightened by the dealer... I even had a later case where Melbourne Land Rover (MLR) had tightened the nuts so tight that neither I, with my cast steel brace, nor Land Rover Assist with a very long extension piece, could get the nut off. It had to be taken back to Melbourne Land Rover (MLR) to be released. They never told me how they did it without having to drill the nut. A new jack is high on my list of wants.. |
