Air Suspension fault warning indiactors

I hope someone can give me some gudiance on this.

Whilst driving on the M4 the car warning indictaor came on for suspension and then said "Suspension fault, Max Speed 30MPH". The car flet like it lost all suspension and was poggoing. Pulled over stopped the car and truned the ignition off. Re started an fault went.

This happened around 2 weeks ago but came on and off whilst driving in seconds.

My question is, is this a expensice fix, i am questioing to take out warranty at the moment. I saw one or two posts on batteries, but don't think it is that with the fact the suspension had actually stopped working.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Many thanks

Cavham

Could just be a height sensor on the way out or possibly a corroded connection somewhere. A dealer should be able to pull the codes up to give an idea of the fault.

thanks for the reply, I thought that but is was the fact the suspension went that made me not so sure. Getting a check over the car by and independant and then will get some idea.

RRS HSE TDV6 gone after 15 months since new - will not be missed I'm afraid - bit of a gremlin in there somewhere - too many issues. Replaced with FFRR Vogue TDV8 - very nice - not as sporty (of course) but absolute luxury.
