This needs looking at by a Dealer, or at least a LR Independent. Do you have a warranty?

Sounds very much like a suspension height sensor failure (or failed calibration range).

Both my beasties are TDV6 but as this is a mechanical issue, I assume they are the same? Just ask for the right part number at stealer parts desk. Man can change them on our driveway in about 20 minutes - little servo thing with a nylon plastic arm. He did it without even taking the wheel off but warned to jack the suspension to prevent a height change whilst working underneath? Change and power up - he does use laptop to check the stroke but not necessary for installation. Have fun!! Smoke me a kipper: I'll be back for breakfast. RRS HSE TDV6 gone after 15 months since new - will not be missed I'm afraid - bit of a gremlin in there somewhere - too many issues. Replaced with FFRR Vogue TDV8 - very nice - not as sporty (of course) but absolute luxury. |
