2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Are you buying new or used and which variant you are considering, TDv6 2.7ltr, TDv6 3.0ltr, TDv8 3.6lts, 4.4ltr V8 petrol, 4.2ltr V8 Supercharged petrol - All look similar some go a lot faster than others but all are essentially "good" cars, there are a few who have had problems. As of tomorrow (1st Sept) there is a whole redesigned range of interiors and slightly different exteriors for 2010 model year so you have a huge choice of specs now from the base S through SE, HSE to HST and then there are the 1st Editions which you will rarely find on the market or the even rarer G4 cars in solid Orange............................ and even two "special editions" the Stormer and the Black and White editions 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Mickey have you tried looking at the used car finder on the Land Rover website? I cannot post a link to it here as it's a Flash site but the homepage is at http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/home.htm
It will search the entire UK dealer network for used cars to the spec you type in. I would suggest that you are looking at a 2006MY 2.7HSE or older or a newer SE 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Greece 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Alaska White

I bought my RRS because I wanted a car that could fulfill the following requirements. (keep in mind I had a Jeep Cherokee before)

1. Family car (4 people with a lot of baggages, no compromises)
2. Good cruise attributes (quiet cruising at speeds of 130-150 km/h, ability to go faster whenever it's needed)
3. Capable offroader (mud, snow, rocks without spending extra money to buy lockers, protection etc.)
4. Nice looking (D3 was an option but it's ugly)

after 9000 kms (highways , offroad, city) I can say with confidence that I'm happy with my choice plus the fact that I bought the car in a good price and although I 've never had in my mind the prestigious aspect of this car now I can see it on others eyes.

TDV6 is an "honest" and economical engine. Of course you are not going to burn the tarmac with it.

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey

I bought a Stormer edition in may of this year and so far I have been mightily impressed with it. Not a problem with it yet apart from the boot lid soft close being set too tight and scratching the top of the bumper. All sorted reasonably pain free. I use mine for towing a LARGE caravan so have had it chipped and boy what a difference. Running solo have seen 37.5mpg on the computer for A road use driving 55-60, 34-35mpg on motorway at legal speeds of course Whistle and round town its in the high 20s regularly depending what mood Im in. Towing it gets between 22-24. Its quiet, comfy, easy to drive, can handle a bit of "spirited" driving now and again. All round great performer and wish id bought one years ago now..... Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

535d m-sport Platinum grey and a few extras.... Gone

X5 3.0 sd in Space Grey, 20's, Dynamic Pack, Memory Pack, Media Pack, Tow Pack, Rear DVD, Panoramic Sunroof, Steps, 7 Seat Pack, Reversing Camera with moving lines, programmable park heat, etc etc etc - Gone

Range Rover Sport Santorini, privacy, dvd, towpack GONE!!!

You should read what What Car? magazine has to say in the October edition's short test................................
What you will like - Quicker, Posher, Greener
What you won't - Footballer's drive 'em

Wish I had the earnings of a footballer!

They also say of the 2010S/C "............ That is not the best bit. What really gets you, as you sit in the near total calm of your luxurious leather cocoon, is how you can be keeping pace with a Subaru Impreza WRX on a demanding country road one minute, then crawling down a muddy mountain into a water filled ravine the next. Try that in your BMW X6 M Mr Footballer!" Jay, it sounds like you need to send that X6 to James to recycle! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
