The lack of 4.4 info is to do with the fact that is didn't spend long on sale in the UK so there were very few sold here. There will be more on the 4.4 unit in the US forum (rangerovers.net) as it's still for sale over there.

I ran a 4.4 petrol V8 for 3 years and never had any issues with it. My fuel economy was 17.5mpg around town and 23mpg on a run. It's faster than the TDV6 but not quite as fast as the 4.2 SC (10mph slower top speed and 1 sec 0-60mph).

Thanky you. Next week the car will go to a LR service for a full checkup, and if everything is OK (as it seems to be) then I'll buy it. |
