After a few weeks of ownership, I took my Sport out in a bit of mud and dirt along a road that crests the coastal mountain range on the central California Coast. Although it took me hours to wash the crusty mud from underneath, It was a blast. I'm sure my Discovery was quite jealous.

At least someone is taking the RRS to where it has to go. I am getting one soon with the idea of taking it back to Venezuela where I hope to do some hardcore use of it offroad. Meanwhile I will have it in Miami where I expect to do some modifications to get some extra hp.

I know - reminds me a little bit of the LRE at Dunkeld from what I've seen of that. Great stuff!

You'd be surprised how cold parts of California get... climate wise it's a continent unto itself. Generally warm and sunny in the south, but can get very cold up in the north.... I think that's what appeals to a lot of people about it.
