Pressures seem high. It should be 33 in the front and 36 in the rear. Pressures rise due to heat in hotter countries aswell. If you want to run the higher pressure youll probably have to reset the tyer pressure indicator (see manual or wait for someone with the option to tell you how |

Sounds like they were rebalancing it rather than repairing it if the shop spun it at high RPMs. The hammering would be applying the balance weights the INCORRECT way - they should be stuck onto alloys to avoid damage to the clear coat lacquer that stops the wheel oxidising/ corroding.

Yea, definately wouldnt want to be driving around with a rim that was hammered back into shape. The alloy will be weakened where it was bent initially and now if you hit anything it more likely to totally give. You can pick up cheapish replacements on ebay, OEM pressures for 20's is 33/36. Like i said though. Read the manual and it will tell you how to reset the tyre pressure system. Its probably something like hold down the button for 10 seconds. Good luck ![]() WINNER - 2009 Best All New Photograph |
