The knocking when i go over small bumps has got even worse and now any dip or rough part of the road produces this horrfic sounding knock. To make matters worse when i turn the steering wheel left and right i get the thud noise (i thought this didnt apply to 2007 model year vehicle) anyone shed some light on the above matter for me. Add that to the fact that the ride has become really harsh. I know i have 20" but i have had the car for 6 months and only recently the ride has become really bad. Both front and rear passengers can feel every bump on the road? I have a 1year old child so i have not been driving above the legal limits of the road. I am giving the car back to CHPR for the final time on 22 june 2009 and i pray long and hard that the knocking noise is eliminated. If anyone can give me any advice or help please feel free to either PM me reply to this topic. Am i asking for too much to have trouble free motoring?

There are various knocking noises that occur relating to the dynamic pack equipped vehicles. In the earlier part of this topic there is a latest technical bulletin which outlines the various knocking issues. The most common one is when the vehicle goes over small bumps or rough roads a knocking noise as if the suspension is knocking against the chassis a thud noise.

Had my vehicle in to the dealer for the brake recall and another go at the knocking over rough ground on the suspension.

We had the new bits fitted 29th December - it is a bit better on normal roads but has made no difference on the B roads around where we live
