Tyre choice

Does anyone know what kind of tyres would have been standard on my 06 Plate Freelander Mk1?

I bought it new from Guy Salmon Portsmouth and did 37,000 miles on the original set of tyres - in general on road use - a lot of motorways. I sold it three months ago with the originals still on - and you still wouldn't have considered changing them,

Wonder if I could stick a similar set on the RRS. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

MercuryL - I suspect they will have been Goodyear Wranglers (but not the F1 type). These are very hard wearing and competent tyres. I put these on our D3 recently (replacing the much softer treaded Pirellis which wore out very quickly) and they have been excellent. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I think my wife's FL1 came with Wranglers too.... but they seem to chop and change, presumably based on what they can get as the best volume deal at any one time.
