MercuryL - I suspect they will have been Goodyear Wranglers (but not the F1 type). These are very hard wearing and competent tyres. I put these on our D3 recently (replacing the much softer treaded Pirellis which wore out very quickly) and they have been excellent. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I think my wife's FL1 came with Wranglers too.... but they seem to chop and change, presumably based on what they can get as the best volume deal at any one time.
