Home Office Firewall

Any IT guys out there?

I have a home office network with one PC connected to an ADSL modem via ethernet and a laptop connected to the ADSL modem via wifi. I want to add some NAS such as http://www.synology.com/enu/products/DS108j/index.php which will allow me to copy all my music files to the disk station and then play them on a http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer/e...WAS7500-05.

At the moment all PCs are running Norton 360 as security, but once I add the disk station I believe that I would need to add a firewall between the ADSL modem and network. Can anyone recommend a firewall?

Thanks

I think you are being a little paranoid here, firstly do you have a static ip address ( ie one that doesnt change) ?

if not then the need for a firewall is greatly reduced, if you do have a static address your adsl modem will have a basic firewall built in.

if you really wanted to get something you could do worse than

http://www.netgear.com/Products/VPNandSSL/...FV338.aspx

or some of the linksys products

on a side not norton anything is really just bloatware, just get the free version of AVG and your sorted.
