its easy enough to drop it by 150mm but that would be twice as stupid as 75mm. Little benefit to touching it unless you are going to make further mods, spent days road testing suspension heights. These autologic boxes can get the uninitiated into trouble - I'd stick with the chipping TC.
can you fill us in more on your findings ie why a lower centre of gravity etc is of no benifit why is 75mm stupid etc some of us may like to know or is it just personal choice it could be an interesting thread thanks graham

Good one. Lowering at an earlier mph is certainly a good idea.
However, what do you think of lowering of 75mm at 50 mph? Your thoughts will benefit some of us. Malaysia Boleh!

I dont understand why the car lowers at 100. What happens at 100 that the car needs to be lower? How many times are you really cruising at 100 for long periods of time.
The engineers obviously determined that at over 100 MPH, there is a handling/control (maybe even aerodynamic) benefit to having the vehicle ride 20mm lower. Few will cruise over 100 MPH on-road, at least in North America... but this big and heavy monster still needs to be engineered for it's top speed.

I understand that at high speeds it's probably more optimal for it to be lower, but why 100? why not 80? or 70? maybe they just don't want it to go up and down to often?

I agree, 100 mph is a stupid speed for LR tos et this feature at, 50mph and upwards is much better, it is afterall the way the full size RR is set.

Who can and would cruise for long periods of time at over 100MPH? or could afford the fuel in a SC to do that! Shocked L319 D4 HSE

Exactly....I think the RRS would handle a lot better on UK roads if the suspension was 'allowed' to lower at 50 mph rather than 100mph that LR think is best!!

I'll keep members posted Wink

It all makes sense - a more "SQUAT" RRS at reasonable speeds of 50mph upwards.

Please keep us all posted TC Smile

Will answer in a bit more detail when I can stand still for 5 mins , very busy at the moment. a fully loaded sport fouls a rear tyre @ - 75mm on a fully loaded car it was a wet day so we didn't find witness marks on wheelarch but we all heard it. I will share our findings later on and they are right lowering at 100mph does seem crazy but it is clearly areodynamic.

Very Happy I would also like my RRS to drop at a more common speed of 50mph ish as I am unlikely to top the 100mph very often in the RRS Michael
