My rrs tdv8 is 2008 model and it has 18000km. It already had 1 oil change and a full service. I ve never noticed any indication either for oil change or service. When i asked the dealer here in cyprus they just told Yeappp that is normal!!! Is it? RRS TDV8 HSE Java Black

Yep

Yep, it will tell you 30 days or 1000km before its due. Unlike other cars that count down continously, this one keeps it a surprise until you are half way through a long journey away without any hope of having the service within the recommended parameters!

The service interval indicator is market dependent. In some countries it is disabled completely, in others it may display only days, or miles to service, or both... Dealers may also disable or enable it via diagnostics. And if you blink when you first start the car you may miss it, information is only displayed for 3 or 4 seconds.
