i broke one of my rear lights while reversing into a house

2 screws hold them in along with 2 rubber stops on the outside. Once the screws are removed, pull from both sides of the lights straight back...it will initially feel like you are forcing it a bit, but it won't...just pull straight and the light will pop out.

Explain how, with the reverse sensors yelling at you for at least 3 or 4 seconds BEFORE the impact, you have managed to break one of your rear light .
