One thing I would check is that the spare isn't hanging down slightly, could be loose in the stowage and bumping around. Open the boot, take out the tray of tools and give the winch a couple of turns to see if it is tight 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Also check the heat shield is secure - that was the cause of my rear knocking! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
