I believe that only real wheels have Land Rover logos and part numbers cast into the rear of the spokes. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

This is correct of course, but unless you can see the alloys for yourself, you have to put the trust in the Ebayer to either be honest or provide evidence

I bet 90% of RRS's with Stormers are in fact replicas.....buy a set of replicas and have a weekend away with the money you save |

Not to be rude or anything, but the original aren't supposed to be made by Land Rover instead of some italian company?

You'd be surprised how many parts in your Land Rover are not made by LR! I don't think any car manufacturer makes their own wheels though. Happy checking. You can also identify fake stormers without taking them off the vehicle as they usually have a cheap paint finish. The genuine Land Rover wheels have a sparkle finish. The fakes are usually just silver paint - unless they are OEM not supplied through LR.

the replicas often have a small stamp in between two of the spokes. to make them replica's rather than identical copies. the originals are smooth between the spokes Go where I want Knot Where I'm Told !!!!!! |

Ah, but you're the Bobby that usually post lots of .pdf about technical details of the RRS... In that case, no need to doubt about your findings! |

Not that but its just that I bought my car with the 20" Stormers and I am very sure they were fitted in LR UK. I saw the car being driven out of the port into the dealers here. They had these same wheels! I took off my wheel just to take the pictures, so I'm pretty sure they are the originals ones supplied by LR UK. Until and unless LR UK has taken me for a ride....
