Simple test is to switch the heated windscreen on when windscreen is iced up (make sure all other heating in car is switched off) and see if ice melts from the window. Remember it doesn't need to be that warm to melt the ice. I would have thought the stone chip would not affect the operation. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

So far I have picked up 3 stone chips on my front screen and all have been repaired . I was also concerned if this would effect the way that the front heated screen operated , but I can say it has had no effect and the heated screen works very well. When it is operating you can feel no heat from it . |
