Nick,

Mate, if fuel prices are a concern then just buy a cheaper car (-10k) and use the savings for fuel - no brainer for me Wink

In case of the Q5 v FL2, its interesting to read that they felt the FL2 was a better drive on the road - will be interesting to see what other reviews say once they get to compare - if the FL2 continues to come out on top for on road driving then top marks to LR Thumbs Up

I like the GT Speed - the steering wheel is away from the Phaeton wheel, which is a big plus for me, and great wheels too.....but am going to go for a standard pre facelft GT and live with the V12 sound and enjoy it - Kaines makes sense what you say, holding back on some of the car funds and ususing it for running costs - and maybe by Dec prices will hit 50K. Dealers are saying that GTC's will come below 100K by end of this year.....

Have changed my mind from the RRS SC to a 3.0 Q7 for my trip to LA later this month - had the same last year - not bad price from Hertz - 10 days £670 - everything included.

seriously though, a Gallardo is no supercar to me - I see plenty of them around me driven by nobody's (and I guess its worse down south). Also it seems every town has 2-3 Bentley GT's lurking in the streets these days - not that special really

But mate believe me there is nothing else out there for 70K worth spending money on.....am not a 911 type, would not waste it on a 360 - had a Maser and didn't really get on with it - R8 are near the money now, but not that special (not being snobby but they are nice, but not special enough) and Aston's are not my cup of tea......any ideas??

Look at what happened with Jonny Fresh and his R8 - had it 5 mins and he sold it.

Nick, not being funny, but if you've got 70k burning a hole in your pocket do you HAVE to spend it on a car?

Mate know you're not being funny, but cars are the only real thing I enjoy in my life, and as disfunctional as i am, I get a little bored and change cars every 6-12 months - but this next one will be a keeper....but, and a big BUT I love my RRS, but don;t want to keep it and get a 40K car - i thought about an S5 and keeping my RRS - and as lovely as the S5 is, I want something more special....

if I left the money in the bank, Mrs Nick would spend it PDQ..... Big Cry
