I think it's the bit behind the steering wheel which connects the buttons on the wheel to the steering column.

In the United States, this will come out in the form of a Safety Recall - rather than a less "urgent" Service Action - within approximately a week. The reason for the recall being that, in theory, the driver's airbag may not deploy in case of an accident. Not sure yet what the Recall number will be around here, Consumer Reports said about a month ago it would be issued around July 21st in the US. |
