Got a quote for a Porsche 911 (997) C2 for £1300, from them too, so guess they are the cheapest all round..

tried more than earlier, see post above.. they seem to be cheap, but have th silly rule of no under 25's! which is great.. still only a year to go..

On the subject of Insurance.
Has any one told their Insurace companies that they have modified the engine?
If so were they OK about it? or is this a taboo subject? Just curious as I will have the same prob sooner or later, to tell or not. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

well to be honest, i bought a tunit box and installed it when i first got the car mine was ex demo so engine was already run in for me. had it in for about 2 weeks and it performed brilliantly, but then i had to uninstall it to take it in the LR for some warranty issues that they hadn't sorted out before delivery.
after bringing the car home again, and reading further posts about LR knowing when u've unplugged the ecu and fitted such units, im a little worried now to reinstall it. didn't inform my insurance company, as i didn't have it installed for very long, and haven't refitted it. But all these remaps and stuff claim to be undetectable by LR dealers so how would the insurance companies find out?

That's true. But then i heard somewhere that LR can now tell from the ecu that its been done.
Perhaps TC can fill us in? TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Guys

Had similar conversations with friends and family. I really, really am fed up with the situation.

But then, pray tell, which 4x4 in the market today can live up (or look up) to the RRS?
Anything better or at least equal to and available immediately - I will take!

I humbly await your response. Cool Malaysia Boleh!
