Keep with it, its really easy. You'll need to get the brake dustshields (AKA backplates), from LR, just specify they are for a supercharged. Likewise get the discs from LR as they aren't too expensive, also just specify RRS Supercharged and you'll get the correct ones. The existing brake wear cables will switch across so that should be all the parts you need.

If you can post a link to the auction I can give you an opinion on the calipers if you like... Cheers

I tried to fit the Brembo’s I bought at the weekend and I have a problem! I bought callipers off eBay and disc’s/dust shields from Landrover.

The callipers looked OK but when I removed the old calliper the new Brembo doesn’t come close to mounting onto the old calliper mounts. Not only this but even if it did fit the bolt size was smaller on the calliper than the mounts on the car.

Do you need a caliper adapter bracket to mount the Brembo’s onto a 2006 RRS or have I bought the wrong callipers? Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

I can post some pics of the callipers later.

No, the correct Brembos fit directly in place of the std caliper brackets using the same bolt holes and bolts. If your Brembos won't bolt up then you have the wrong calipers Big Cry Cheers

Do the standard NON brembo hoses fit ok on the new brembo calpers ?

I think ive found a source for a few sets of new brembos with pads and discs at a good price Smile

Use your existing hoses and wear sensor, you'll need the Brembo backplates too. Cheers

Thanks m8,

i may have a go at cutting the back plates, i fitted some on a FFRR a while agao and he didnt get the plates so i manages to trim his old onesto fit the bigger calipers,

Unless of course the RRS are totaly different shape.

Regards and thanks Pete

Diameter is wrong too IIRC, not just the caliper cutout. The plates are not too expensive and easily available from dealers... Cheers

Ahh i see, do you have to split the baring to get the back plate over the hub ?
