It's the same as the one in std RR's I think and I don't think you'll find it's linked to your odometer....not 100% on that, but when it loses a signal it assumes you will drive in the same direction ...

I've just (today) got my new RRS....all gorgeous and shiny...actually I might sleep in Brittany (that's her name) tonight I'm sooooooo in love.
