Mine too has the USB socket in the glove box, it was part of the iPod integration kit.
One limitation of it is that it can only handle up to 256Mb thumb drives, anything bigger and it gives problem ... |

| Check the button for the upper tailgate, it corrodes and provides a path for the battery to drain, just had to replace mine, and it is an known problem with MY07/08 vehicles |

The TDV8 I drove at LRE had a bigger bottle jack fitted where the bottle jack is in Rupert's picture. The instructor said that those bottle jacks were no longer available and that was back in 2007.

I wanted a FFRR and the wife wanted a Freelie2 so the RRS was a compromise between the two, plus the fact that after she drove the TDV8 at LRE Dunkeld she loved it  |
