2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Alaska White

Which Computer

Will be setting up a new office over the next couple of weeks. Will need to buy a new computer, powerful enough for CAD, graphics and video editing. Will need the following specs

Fast Video card
Fast hard drive
plenty of RAM
fast procesors
ethernet card
variour card readers built in

Screen size will probably be 22"
extra external hard drive

will probably go for Vista, now before you all start about compatibility issues, this is where I need the advice.

Will vista work with any CAD, graphics and video editing applications, Does Vista require a third party anti-virus & spyware

Which manufacturer builds a good computer, how many procesors and at what speed. Quite like HP products

Any help appreciated..... MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

Ignore VA

Personally always spec Dell desktops. Good prices, pretty good support - 3 year warranty etc.

You can get a very high spec system that will support all the CAD you can throw at it for less than 2k to include all the requirements above.

Really don't go with Vista. Unless you have a specific reason to do so, stick with XP - you'll have much less headache with it.

Shmoogle we'll just ignore VA - rather stay with a PC.
