I say ol' chap I only live 2 minutes from the M40. There is a really nice pub in my village that serves lunch and snacks or alternatively a nice restaurant thats only another minute up the road thats also very very pleasant.

I wouldn't go to M40 J12 services unless you've got a discount card ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There is a very nice pub at Weston on the Green opposite the RAF base. Has a very good reputation locally for food. The name escapes me at the mo.........but if I remember I'll have a look tomorrow on the way past. TDV6 - gone TDV8 - gone Audi Q5 3.0 Tdi Sline wef 6/11/10 |

Martin the Herb Centre looks about my style! Might stop there on the way north too and stock up on gearden plants for the garden too When I came down for the mini meet that Sportman came to, I went over to the Henry Doubleday Research Centre near to Coventry (it's an organic garden and research centre with a cracking restaurant/ teashop) for a stop. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Before the M40 was built I always went into Straford, Woodstock and also Witney (where the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at in the Uk is located, think it is called the Bear or something like that in the main street) The rsidents of these towns must be very thankful that they have been by-passed by the motorway now! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
