United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've had the problem with knocking front suspension from when my TDV6 was new (about three months ago), and my dealer cannot fix it. They say that replacing the bushes (advised by Doc) will not benefit a car with the Dynamic pack fitted, and they have installed the software patch (and other subsequent updates) advised by the Voice of Reason. Landrover Customer Sevices have been no help whatsoever, and I think my dealer is as frustrated as I am and I know they have the sames issue with other customers. I'm grasping at straws now - has anyone heard of other possible fixes?

Thanks for the reply, but as I said in my first post - they have already installed the DVD 105 patch file 3 that VOR talks about, and it's made no difference whatsoever (I even showed them his post)!

Thanks - but that's easier said than done!

I'm hoping that VOR (who seems to know more than most about LR) will respond with some words of advice.

But you havn't had the bushes done, get it in somewhere else for the bushes and then see the outcome.

I've got to get the wifes booked in as it sounds like a £50 chav car.

Hi Smiffy
Got the same problem
Mine went in on Monday and came back WED with the same Big Cry
It had the new bushes as the part number VA mentioned, and the 105 patch file 3 and its exactly the same.
Its on the front somewhere
It may be a different problem.
It goes in on WED again so I will let you know what they find.
If they get stuck I will find it and let you know what it is.

Regards

Its difficult to know what sort of knock and how severe it is on your vehicle, if you are in any doubt as to the safeness of the car then i would suggest that you don't drive it, The knock that i had on my front suspension was loud enough for me to be concerned, but after my dealer had checked the suspension out(even though it still knocked after) i carried on driving it, until it was finally sorted which was a good while after the first visit to the dealers.

Incidentally mine had the bushes that Doc had fitted, and also a new anti roll bar, quiet as a mouse some of my Previous cars
