Sorry Bobby.., but I'm still struggling with those punctuation marks??? Doesn't the seatbeat need to be fully extended as well to complete the process? MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs |

Friend of mine worked for a dealership and got a buckle from an old car to use when needed - a trip to the scrap yard should get you a buckle to replace the old credit card if you wanted something more reliable... Need to check interchangability I guess but thats all... |

Without sounding too correct wouldnt the easiest fix be to put your seat belt on. With this you get the added bonus of not having to have serious surgery (If your lucky) when someone slams into you. I dont think anybody thinks you are any less of a man because you put a seat belt on. You could also disable disable the airbags if you want |

Not as simple as that - even the lightest of objects on the passenger seat triggers the warning when you're driving alone. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I actually think it's a ford trick? I remember when we used to own an Explorer and this seatbelt trick worked. I simply thought it came to land rover when ford bought them, but I could just be wrong. Does anyone know if the trick worked on pre-ford land rovers? |
