Is it just me or did this series seem to go really quickly?

The limo feature was absolutely hilarious.

This series has without doubt been the funniest ever! Bow down Bow down

Can't have been surely? It's only been on 4 weeks!!! Shocked

And I Censored missed the last one as my Sky+ box refused to record BOTH Weds and Sat night's repeats!!

Clarkson was on record last year (before the Hammond crash) saying that this latest series of Top Gear would probably be the last. Finish while the going is good.

I must say it is the best television on television; bar none. I think they were beginning to try a little too hard though. Previously there were one or two challenges a series. This last series had a challenge or two in each episode, plus the US special. All exceedingly hilarious, but can't continue surely especially "due to the unique way the BBC is funded".

I'd be surprised to see it axed. It must be one of the Beeb's most watched programmes. It's almost constantly being repeated on UK Gold which I presume must mean there's demand for it.... it's certainly amongst the most entertaining telly at the mo, although I do think this series did leave the cars content on the back burner a bit. Bloody funny though! Thumbs Up

You're right S, it was a slightly "off-topic" series, but cant see it getting axed in the immediate future as it's way too popular with BBC Licence Payers. In fact, I think they're already re-running the last series, caught episode 1 (with the crash) again last night/Tuesday morning 2.15am. Slightly screwed by the sign zone though with Ted Rogers doing his 3-2-1 impressions.

TG has had a good long run and while it has been about the best program ever on the telly maybe it is best that it goes out on a high, rather than dragging on and getting tired - I can think of some programmes that have stayed long after their time should have been called. I think alos that the Beeb has realised that JC is not everybodies favourite TV presenter and while he calls a spade a spade, many of the big car makers are so lilly livered that they cannot take his criticism of their products and I suspect they have put the hard word on the Beeb to do something about him. I wouldn't be surprised if it re-appears in a year or so on C4 or ITV with the same presenters being paid evn more than they must be able to command now. JC in particular must have made most of his fortune from presenting TG - he was already pretty wealthy anyway as his family owns the TV, film and brand rights to Paddington Bear, he doesn't really need to work these days. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

I read today, in Clarkson's column in the Sun that Top Gear will be back in the autumn.

As long as no one dies during filming. Shocked Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
