Germany 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black
Colour Code My Interior!!

I'm going to place an order for a new 2008 MY TDV6 in the next few days. It will be a Java black SE with privacy glass.

For the interior I am undecided between Alpaca or the new Tan leather, and have no clue on whether to use wood (which wood?), Rhodium or the new one (the dark grey!).

I probably won't keep the car too long so resale value is important. Which combos would people recommend and are they the same as the 'popular' ones?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Joe.

Ah, well that proves tan is very northern working class so I'd say go with alpaca. Trim-wise, rhodium is probably safest for resale.., although I have wood and grown to really like it.., classy!

Welcome to our world...........

If you want safe........black, black, black, black with added Rhodium.

Will always sell........apart from oooooop north, where they don't have any money! Whistle .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

Welcome to the forum! Thumbs Up

Java is the safest colour to buy (and also looks great), Zermatt's a close second I would've said. If you're planning not to keep it then the "buy what you like" advice doesn't really apply Wink

Given the tan interior isn't out in the wild yet, it's difficult to tell whether it will be good for resale or not. If you want to be definite about it - get either the black or the alpaca interior. The rhodium trim works best with black and the wood trim works best with alpaca.

All imho, of course Very Happy

Ah but then there is the new Zabrano wood trim.....which from the limited pictures we've seen so far looks good with Ebony.

I'd say put your order in and leave the final spec as late as possible. New confirmed details will be out soon ish and then you can finalise it. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Yes, I like the Zebrano trim too... very nice with Ebony! Thumbs Up Like the tan leather though, no data on how well the resale market will like it. Given it's nowhere near as important as the seat colour, it's def worth a punt though.
