Can't wait........

Delivery has been brought forward to Wednesday or Thursday instead of March 14. Getting very excited. I'll probaly take Thursday and Friday off work (as holidays) and have a long weekend enjoying it. Got to get a few thousand miles under my belt quick so that I can have it Turbochipped.

Thanks all, keep you informed on how it all goes. Mind you thinking about a pair of bristling boobies might take my mind of it until I collect it.

Picked the RRS on Wednesday evening - First impressions - AWESOME - Love the driving position and the ride. Only got the chance to play with it properly today. went for a long ride with some friends, they were suitably impressed also. Now I need to familiarise myself with all the controls, might need some help here, as there are some strange things happening. For instance when driving through a tunnel with the lights on auto, they come on OK, but don't switch off when back in daylight, even after some considerable time, I had to switch them off manually. Any of you guys experienced this?

They can be a little slow to react, except on a sunny day. But I wouldn't worry about that as a fully-lit RRS looks the nuts in broad daylight! Leave it on "auto" Ken and dont worry about it, unless they fail to extinguish after use at night. Thumbs Up MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

Glad to see you've got it, and its ok, sorry i cant help with the lights though as i never use mine on auto but imagine that they should switch off pretty quick after entering daylight, i know that when you turn the ignition off the lights will turn off automatically ater a shorwhile some of my Previous cars

Thanks Brian,

I'll see how it goes. By the way, it looks the nuts even without the lights on.

True! Thumbs Up

The lights will normally be activated going into a tunnel and, if a bit overcast, not extinguish on exit despite not being previously activated prior to entering the tunnel. That's quite normal, the on/off settings clearly have different thresholds. TB will be able to give further information on the matter. Personally, I'd be happy to have an option that leaves the lights on always when in operation.., as with Mercedes!
