Get prepared to laugh

Our mondeo is going into the garage to get some body work done it after someone slid into it in the snow. Just sitting in now waiting for the courtesy car to arrive. Not sure what it'll be, when we went to the body shop I saw a polo and a fiesta. Also it'll have the funny garage name on the side, which always makes my laugh. I'm just getting nervous about what it'll be Confused I guess whatever it is I can't compain, it's only a couple of hundred quids worth of mondeo going in Wink 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

So, the courtesy car will be worth more than your damaged vehicle? Bet you're hoping it snows more often Andy? Whistle MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

I remember taking one of my Father's works cars into Peugeot for a service - it was an L plate 306 XL - I think they saw me coming so gave me an F Plate 405 L with over 100k on the clock - was a bit of a laugh until I tried the brakes for the first time Shocked

Yup, but the courtesy car will be smaller than the mondeo, and I hate small cars!

The delivery driver has just been on, asking me where our town is. A bit scary saying it's only about 10 miles away from the garage and he's never heard of it Confused 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

We've had some awful loaners in the past, a lime green Honda Jazz with 6 miles on the clock, a 106, a punto, and a 406. The 406 was quite nice, it was new at the time. The 106 and the punto sat on the drive and weren't used, and the Jazz had to be used but was nasty! 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

Laughing Laughing At least it was a LR product. The Jazz we had was when the Freelander went in for some warranty work (dodgy electrics). Serves us right for buying from a Honda stealer Sad 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

Nice, perhaps we'll get a Ford GT Very Happy

Envoy, that really does sound bad for an M5, we had only taken a mondeo in. I had to sit in the back of one once with 2 girls, it was bloody cramped, and they were mingers Shocked 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE
